Perhaps you are searching for meaning in your life or simply trying to gain more understanding about the Christian faith. Back to the Basics is a structured, fundamental, evangelical presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Who alone can answer all of life's deepest questions.
The Gospel is about changed lives. It is about healing hurting and broken marriages, causing people to work hard and quiet lives providing for their families, restoring and bringing peace into broken relationships, finding a true meaning and purpose in life's journey, answers about Heaven and hell.
The Gospel also answers the questions about what happens to me when I die. Is there a Heaven and a hell? Do I simply non-exist when I die? Where did I come from? Where am I going? If there is a Heaven, how do I know if I will be there one day? Do I go to Heaven automatically or if not, what do I have to do to make sure I'm right with God?
God has given today's church the mission to present the Gospel and answer the questions of the human heart. Unfortunately, the church is fractured and there are many religions and denominations with many "gospels" that are being presented, some correct and some incorrect.
Therefore, Back to the Basics does not present or promote a religion or denomination. Back to the Basics consistently discusses our personal relationship with God, not things we need to do. After all, a religion or denomination cannot get us 6 inches off the ground but a correct relationship with our Creator will not only allow us to find the way to get to Heaven, but also allow Him to teach us how to lead good productive lives in life's journey.
All Scripture references are contained within each lesson to make it easy for those not familiar with finding the location of the passage. Every effort has been made for a comfortable, enjoyable, non-threatening learning experience.
Back to the Basics not pressure anyone to say or do anything. Just enjoy the friendship of others while learning about the basics of becoming a Christian, finding a personal relationship with God so that all the questions of your heart can be answered.
